The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme was initiated to make it easier for foreigners to settle in Malaysia. Regardless of race, religion, gender and age, foreigners from countries recognized by Malaysia and who satisfy the criteria set by the Malaysian government can apply for the programme.
Successful applicants are given a renewable 10-year multi-entry visa that permits them to stay in Malaysia or extended periods here. Various incentives such as children’s study passes, tax exemption for car import or purchase, and purchase of residential properties are also offered to help make their stay in Malaysia as warm and pleasant as its tropical weather.
